Mar 25: EFT, a leader in UAV technology, is joining forces with Bharat Skytech Private Limited (BSPL) to launch EFT BHARAT. This partnership will allow for local manufacturing and distribution of the E610P agricultural drone in India.
EFT has kicked off production under the “Make in India” initiative, with BSPL as its manufacturing partner. This move is vital for EFT’s long-term presence in India, combining global tech with the country’s manufacturing potential.
The partnership includes the transfer of production moulds to BSPL, ensuring the drones made in India meet international quality standards. This means Indian farmers will receive advanced drones without compromising on technology or performance.
This collaboration aims to boost India’s agricultural drone market, speeding up deliveries and improving service. Local manufacturing will create jobs and support Indian vendors, strengthening the country’s UAV sector.
The E610P drones will offer customers better supply chain reliability, warranties, and services through BSPL’s network, all aligned with EFT’s global standards. Enterprise customers can expect tailored product demonstrations and ongoing support.
According to Sweety Liu, CEO of EFT, “Launching EFT BHARAT is a major milestone for us. We want to provide effective solutions for Indian farmers and stakeholders.”
*Gurmeet Singh, CEO of Bharat Skytech, commented*, “We’re excited to partner with EFT. This project will help us grow responsibly while providing the same top-tier quality. With EFT BHARAT, we aim to make advanced drone technology accessible to farmers across India.”
The EFT BHARAT initiative is just the start of EFT’s plan to expand its manufacturing footprint in India, reinforcing the local supply chain in coming years. Recent data shows that the Indian drone market is expected to grow substantially, reflecting a global shift towards automation in agriculture. Insights from research firm ResearchAndMarkets project the agriculture drones market in India to reach $1.36 billion by 2026, highlighting the rising demand for such technology.
As farmers increasingly turn to technology for efficiency, initiatives like EFT BHARAT play a crucial role in modernizing agriculture in India.
