Today, we enjoyed another edition of the Xbox Partner Preview, showcasing exciting updates from developers worldwide. This 30-minute show, narrated by Aaron Paul, introduced 19 upcoming games. Seven of these titles are making their debut, and 14 will be available on launch day for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
We kicked off with the world premiere of Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish, a thrilling first-person action game set in the World of Darkness universe. The broadcast ended with another exciting reveal, Artificial Detective. This post-apocalyptic adventure features a quirky robot detective and a young human sidekick.
We also saw the premiere of Alien Deathstorm from Rebellion, a captivating first-person shooter set on a perilous alien planet. Plus, we got more information about Stranger than Heaven, an action-adventure game teaming up with Xbox Game Pass.
There’s a special showcase titled “Xbox Presents: A Special Look at Stranger Than Heaven” coming up on May 6, where contributors will discuss the game’s themes and characters in depth.
In addition, we revealed new downloadable content for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and teased many other exciting titles, such as Hades 2 and Super Meat Boy 3D.

Alien Deathstorm
From Rebellion, Alien Deathstorm immerses players in a turbulent off-world colony. Faced with fierce weather and terrifying aliens, survival is layered with challenges. This game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud, making it easy to play anywhere.
Artificial Detective
In Artificial Detective, players follow a witty robot detective investigating humanity’s disappearance. The game blends humor and action as players navigate this intriguing narrative. It’s set to launch in 2027.
Ascend to Zero
This action roguelike game lets players manipulate time as a key mechanic. Set in a striking cyberpunk world, it encourages strategic play and quick reflexes. Expect its release on July 13, 2026.
Bluey’s Happy Snaps
Bluey’s Happy Snaps takes players on a journey with the beloved characters from the show. Using Dad’s special camera, players will capture moments and explore new locations, promising an enjoyable experience suitable for all ages. Scheduled for release in Fall 2026.
Additionally, there’s Wuthering Waves, which brings rich storytelling and action to the forefront. Set to arrive in July 2026, it allows players to explore a vibrant, anime-inspired world.
