Jazeera Airways is making waves in the travel scene with the launch of four new routes to India: Kozhikode, Tiruchirappalli, Mangalore, and Kannur. This move under Project Vande Bharat boosts its Indian network to 12 cities, offering 49 weekly flights. This expansion enhances connectivity between Kuwait and India, benefiting travelers, workers, and cargo shipments.
The new flights add to Jazeera’s existing connections to major cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. This is great news for the large South Indian community in Kuwait, allowing easier travel back to their hometowns. The airline is better positioned to cater to the needs of this vibrant expatriate population.
Barathan Pasupathi, CEO of Jazeera Airways, shared, “India is a key part of our operations. Since we resumed flights on March 20, we’ve already helped over 11,000 passengers through Project Vande Bharat. Expanding our reach to 12 cities shows our commitment to keeping families connected.” According to recent data from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, around 1.6 million Indians live in Kuwait, making these flights particularly important.
