Zach Cregger and Zach Shields are gearing up to write the script for a prequel to the horror hit Weapons, titled Gladys. This exciting new project comes from New Line and Warner Bros.
Cregger and the team behind Weapons, including Roy Lee and Miri Yoon from Vertigo Entertainment, are back to produce. Cregger is represented by CAA, Artists First, and others.
The original Weapons movie was a hit, bringing in over $270 million globally. Amy Madigan, who played the enigmatic Aunt Gladys, received an Academy Award for her role.
