Guilty Gear Strive is on the brink of a major update—Version 2.00. With less than a week to go, fans are buzzing about the upcoming changes, especially with the reveal of a new character, Jam Kuradoberi.
Arc System Works has shared the first gameplay footage, offering a sneak peek into Jam’s moves and abilities. Returning players will recognize her card mechanic, which powers up her kicks, just like in the last game. But she’s got new tricks up her sleeve too.
Jam has always been known for her quick strikes and flashy moves. While her signature command dash and counter remain, it’s exciting to see how she’ll adapt in the evolving game. One adorable detail? Her pet rabbit, though mostly for animations, adds a fun touch to her character.
The new gameplay footage features matches against Nagoriyuki and Ky Kiske, showcasing Jam’s martial arts skills in action. Players will have about six minutes of jam-packed matches to enjoy. Besides adding Jam, the update will introduce new special moves and balance changes for all characters, enhancing gameplay. Exciting times are ahead for Guilty Gear fans!
