LOS ANGELES — After releasing his new album “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” The Weeknd is hitting the road for a big North American stadium tour. This showcases his incredible popularity as a solo artist.
The “After Hours ‘Til Dawn” tour kicks off on May 9 in Phoenix at State Farm Stadium and wraps up on September 3 in San Antonio at the Alamodome. Fans can expect stops in major cities like Detroit, Chicago, New Jersey, Foxborough, Minneapolis, Denver, Inglewood, Las Vegas, Seattle, and many more. He will also perform in Canada, visiting cities like Vancouver, Edmonton, and Toronto.
Joining him on stage will be Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti and producer Mike Dean. This lineup promises an exciting experience for concertgoers!
Ticket sales will start soon. An artist presale begins Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time and ends Thursday at 9 a.m. local time. General ticket sales open on February 7 at 10 a.m. local time, available through theweeknd.com/tour.
“Hurry Up Tomorrow” is the last part of The Weeknd’s trilogy, which began with “After Hours” in 2020 and continued with “Dawn FM” in 2022. This new album includes collaborations with big names like Future, Anitta, and Lana Del Rey.
Interestingly, the album was inspired by a live show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where The Weeknd faced a challenging moment when he lost his voice.
