The cast is a delightful mix of old and new. Rick Moranis returns as the hilarious Lord Dark Helmet, with Daphne Zuniga as Princess Vespa and Bill Pullman as Lone Starr. Amazon MGM is keeping the sequel’s plot tightly guarded, teasing that it will once again be set in a galaxy far, far away, poking fun at other massive sci-fi franchises like “Star Trek” and “Alien.” The director, Josh Greenbaum, is known for his quirky humor from films like “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.” The screenplay was crafted by Gad, Benji Samit, and Dan Hernandez.
