The Buffalo Sabres are gearing up for Game 1 of their playoff series on Sunday, April 19. Here’s what you need to know about parking and traffic for the big day:

Perry Street will close between Washington St. and Illinois St. at noon on Sunday. To reach the KeyBank Center, you can come via Michigan Avenue to Perry Street or South Park Avenue. For LECOM Harborcenter, use Main Street to Perry Street. Southbound traffic on Washington Street will be rerouted to Scott Street, which will remain open in both directions.

Currently, the KeyBank Center parking ramp sold out, but you can still find parking in the KeyBank Center surface lot at Perry St./Baltimore St. and the LECOM Harborcenter parking ramp. Both lots will open at noon. Just a note: tailgating won’t be allowed in any parking areas.

If you don’t have a game ticket, no worries! You can join the fun at the Sabrehood Block Party, a free event for everyone. It features a pregame Party in the Plaza starting three hours before the game, followed by a Watch Party at Canalside two hours before puck drop.
