Joseph Savarino, grandson of Duke basketball legend Mike Krzyzewski, is facing serious charges after a tragic incident in Durham. He is accused of hitting 15-year-old Jack O’Shea, who was riding an e-bike. The accident occurred just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, and sadly, Jack did not survive.
When police tested Savarino’s blood alcohol content, it was 0.11. Public records reveal he admitted to drinking earlier that evening. Savarino was arrested and initially held on a $100,000 bond but has since posted bail. His driving license has been revoked by the court.
