PORTLAND, Ore. — The Oregon men’s golf team is gearing up for the Big Ten Championships, happening right in their own backyard. The tournament will be held at Pumpkin Ridge’s Witch Hollow course, a par-72, 7,017-yard layout, from May 1 to May 3. Fans can catch the final round on the Big Ten Network, and live scoring is available through the Clippd Scoreboard.
Traveling for the event will be easy for the Ducks, only 124 miles from home. In contrast, other teams will average about 1,905 miles, with some traveling nearly 3,000 miles!
Oregon has been on a roll, finishing in the top five of six consecutive conference tournaments. They haven’t won a conference title since 2017. Last year, in their first Big Ten Championships, the Ducks placed fourth, with alumnus Greyson Leach finishing as the individual runner-up.
The Ducks closed their regular season recently, placing ninth in the Western Intercollegiate with a score of +17. Aiden Krafft shone with a 5-under-par 65 in the second round, while Ramil Saelim finished the third round at 2-under, both landing in the top 30.
