Baby Food Scare Shakes Austria
Authorities in eastern Austria have arrested a 39-year-old man linked to a disturbing incident involving baby food. Rat poison was discovered in jars of HiPP baby food on store shelves across central Europe.
HiPP, a well-known brand, responded quickly by recalling certain jars in Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. The company expressed relief over the suspect’s arrest and has promised to share more information as it becomes available.

HiPP stated that their products left the factory in perfect condition and that they are the victims of extortion. A mysterious blackmailer reached out to the company, prompting immediate action and police notification.
