CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Florida State has secured the top seed for the upcoming 2026 Allstate ACC Softball Championship. This exciting tournament kicks off on Wednesday, May 6, at Palmer Park in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Seminoles will play their first game on Thursday, May 7, at 11 a.m. ET. They’ll face the winner of a match between No. 8 Notre Dame and No. 9 Georgia Tech. This first-round game starts at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, followed by several others throughout the day.
Here’s the Wednesday schedule:
- Game 1: Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech at 11 a.m.
- Game 2: Louisville vs. NC State at 1:30 p.m.
- Game 3: Clemson vs. North Carolina at 5 p.m.
- Game 4: Virginia vs. Pitt at 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, four more games are lined up:
- Game 5: Florida State vs. Game 1 winner at 11 a.m.
- Game 6: Stanford vs. Game 2 winner at 1:30 p.m.
- Game 7: Duke vs. Game 3 winner at 5 p.m.
- Game 8: Virginia Tech vs. Game 4 winner at 7:30 p.m.
The semifinal matches will take place on Friday, May 8, starting at 1 p.m. The championship game is set for Saturday, May 9, at 2:30 p.m. This final match will be broadcast on ESPN, while the earlier rounds will air on ACC Network.
