MEDFORD, MA (May 4, 2026) — The No. 4 Tufts University women’s lacrosse team will host the NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse Tournament First and Second Rounds this weekend. The Jumbos are set to face the winner of the matchup between Endicott College and Haverford College on May 9-10 at Bello Field.
Endicott College won the Conference of New England title, boasting a 15-4 record after defeating Roger Williams 17-11 in the finals. They’ve earned their spot against Haverford, who received an at-large bid after losing to Franklin & Marshall in the Centennial Conference championship. Haverford is making its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance with a 13-6 record.
The winner of Saturday’s game will meet Tufts on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the Second Round of the tournament. Tufts has a rich history in this tournament, marking its 11th appearance overall and eighth straight since 2018. They previously faced Haverford once, edging out a close game with an 11-10 win back in 2011. Notably, Tufts holds a perfect 16-0 record against Endicott throughout their history.
It’s noteworthy that women’s lacrosse is growing rapidly in popularity. According to recent statistics, participation in women’s lacrosse at the collegiate level has increased by over 50% in the last decade. This trend reflects a rising interest in women’s sports and greater support for female athletes, which bodes well for programs like Tufts as they advance into the playoffs.
