Devin Booker made history on Monday by becoming the all-time leading scorer for the Phoenix Suns in a game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He scored 34 points, surpassing the previous record held by Suns legend Walter Davis, who had 15,666 points.
Booker hit a three-pointer in the third quarter to reach this milestone, and the crowd in Portland gave him a warm round of applause. After the shot, he celebrated with his family during the next timeout.
Despite his impressive performance, the Suns fell short, losing 121-119. In a tough moment, Booker missed a crucial free throw at the end of overtime that could have tied the game.
