Duke Softball Set for ACC Championship Opener Against North Carolina

Duke finished the regular season with an impressive 38-13 record, including a strong 20-4 in conference play. Duke is making its eighth trip to the ACC Softball Championship and has a solid track record of 10 wins and 5 losses in the tournament. The team has claimed two titles in just nine years. Historically, Duke has fared well as the second seed, holding a 3-2 record in that position.
As these rivals meet for the 23rd time, Duke leads the series 16-6 and has enjoyed dominance recently, winning 15 of the last 16 matchups.
