An Amber Alert was issued for two children in Perinton, New York, who were allegedly taken by their brother. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for the kids and their mother.
The children are 7-year-old Julie Abdulla Qasim Saleh and 9-year-old Hafiz Mouna Ali Ali. They were last seen Saturday afternoon near Crossover Road. Julie is about 4 feet tall and weighs 55 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt and light yellow baggy pants. Hafiz is 4 feet 5 inches and weighs 75 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen in a black hoodie and black sweatpants with gray stripes.
Their brother, 26-year-old Amar Abdullah Qasim Saleh, is suspected in the abduction. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. Amar has brown hair and eyes and was last seen in a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants, with his hair in a bun. The vehicle involved is a white or silver 2026 Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.
Authorities believe the children are in immediate danger, prompting the Amber Alert. While the Sheriff’s Office assures there is no threat to the public, they urge anyone with information to contact 911 or the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at 585-753-4178.
