Patrick De Haan, an analyst from GasBuddy, noted that the national average for diesel is just $0.18 away from breaking its previous record. This spike stems from about 20 million barrels of oil that aren’t making it through the Strait of Hormuz.

Bobby Bozeman, the development director there, shared concerns about rising diesel costs. “We’re monitoring the situation closely,” he said. “While it’s not alarming, we are adjusting our budget to deal with these changes.”
Experts suggest that diesel prices may continue to rise for the foreseeable future, leaving many uncertain about when they might dip again.
Interestingly, a recent survey by AAA revealed that 65% of people are feeling the pinch of rising fuel prices, which affects their spending habits, like dining out or shopping.
