“Introducing Madhya Pradesh’s First International Tourist Train: Experience Luxury from Indore to Nepal’s Iconic Pashupatinath Temple!”

Indore: Madhya Pradesh is making strides in tourism with its first international luxury tourist train. This service will take travelers from Indore to the renowned Pashupatinath Temple in Nepal.

This train is part of Indian Railways’ initiative to boost tourism. It promises a comfortable experience with features like dining, lounges, and cozy accommodations. The new journey is designed to cater to both pilgrims and tourists, letting them explore both India and Nepal.

According to the Indian Railways, this deluxe train is part of the “Bharat Gaurav” tourism circuit and will also stop at major destinations in Nepal, such as Kathmandu and Pokhara. This initiative, introduced by the IRCTC in Bhopal, provides passengers with a premium travel experience.

Railway Joint General Manager Rajendra Borwan shared that the first trip will accommodate about 150 pilgrims. After a scenic 23-hour ride, travelers will reach the Nepal border. From there, they’ll switch to local coaches to continue their journey to Chitwan, visiting important sites along the way.

While Indian Railways already runs pilgrimage trains to various holy sites within India, this service marks the first direct train link from Indore to Nepal. This combination of religious tourism and international travel is expected to attract many people.

Passengers will enjoy meals both on and off the train. They’ll also have guided tours to explore famous sights in Nepal. The travel package includes amenities like accommodation, travel insurance, and on-board security, ensuring a pleasant journey.

This move highlights a growing trend in tourism, where people seek unique experiences across borders. The introduction of this train service speaks to a broader desire for exploration and spiritual journeys in today’s world.
