Dignity Health is gearing up to create a 300,000-square-foot medical campus in north Phoenix, right next to the new Arizona Cardinals performance center. This project will kick off in 2027, with hopes of welcoming patients by 2028.
Dignity Health has been a long-time partner of the Cardinals and currently holds the naming rights for the facility in Tempe. Michael Bidwill, the Cardinals’ owner, remarked, “Our relationship with Dignity Health is a great win for our community. Together, we’re committed to health and well-being, making this project more than just buildings. It’s about creating a healthier future.”
This new campus will be the largest outpatient facility for Dignity Health. Situated on eight acres of a 217-acre site, it’s set to create 700 jobs in medical and support roles. Key features will include a sports medicine institute, services from the Barrow Neurological Institute, orthopedics, cardiology, specialized primary care, executive health, imaging, and outpatient surgery.
Anthony Houston, president of Dignity Health Arizona, expressed excitement about the initiative: “This campus will provide high-quality healthcare, not just for professional athletes, but for everyone in our community.”
The Cardinals are aiming to complete their new facility by summer 2028. Currently, their training facility is located in Tempe.
