Raw GM Adam Pearce was ready to fire Jacob Fatu, and he made that clear to Roman Reigns when he arrived at the arena. But before Pearce could act on it, Fatu charged to the ring, challenging the world champion to a fight.
The Usos were quick to come to the ring. Jimmy tried to convince Fatu to respect Reigns as his Tribal Chief, but Jey took a different route. He hit Fatu with a steel chair, but Fatu shrugged it off and took out both Usos single-handedly.
Roman then entered the fray, launching a Superman Punch that Fatu countered using the Tongan Death Grip. It took all three members of The Bloodline to finally overpower Fatu.
With the fight done, Roman gave Pearce the go-ahead to fire Fatu. In an unexpected twist, Jacob grabbed the mic and challenged Roman to a match for Tribal Combat, which Roman accepted. WWE commentators suggested this showdown could happen at Clash In Italy on May 31. For now, Fatu seems to have saved his job.
Tribal Combat is a high-stakes match format familiar to fans. Previously, it made waves when Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa on Raw’s Netflix debut, reclaiming the Ula Fala and gaining The Rock’s approval. As anticipation builds for this upcoming face-off, many fans are curious if Roman will maintain his dominance or if Fatu will take the crown as the new Tribal Chief.
This match will surely grab attention, potentially overshadowing other big bouts like the WWE Championship clash between Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER.
