A recent theft in Chattanooga has caught attention. It happened on the Southside at the end of January, specifically in the 200 block of East Main Street. This area is busy, with both businesses and apartments. Police Sgt. Victor Miller shared details about the incident.

Surveillance footage shows a man entering the back door of a business. He tries to hide his face with a black baseball cap. Once inside, he goes straight to a storage area. This is where several valuable power tools are kept. According to Sgt. Miller, the thief chose five or six tools, totaling more than $3,000, before leaving.
Additional video captured him as he exited the building. The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build. There is also a reward of up to $5,000 for anyone who provides information leading to his arrest.
