Lionsgate is changing its schedule for the two-part sequel to The Resurrection of Christ. Part one will now come out on May 6, 2027, pushed back from March 26, 2027. Part two has also been delayed, moving from May 6, 2027, to May 25, 2028.
In exciting news, we’ve seen the first look at Jaakko Ohtonen as Jesus Christ. He follows in the footsteps of Jim Caviezel, who played the role in Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ.
