Discover Deliciousness: New Food Truck Court in Alpine Serves Up Greek Classics and More!

ALPINE, Wyo. — A new dining experience is about to open in Alpine this summer, featuring an exciting food truck court.

Dave and Becky Walters, who own the main property, have transformed the downtown area into a vibrant space for food lovers. They’ve added picnic tables, landscaping, lighting, and facilities for four food trucks. This summer, two food trucks will kick things off: one specializing in Greek cuisine, and the other serving classic favorites like hot dogs and burgers.

Dave shared with Buckrail, “We bought and set up two food trucks that are now leased to local culinary entrepreneurs.” There’s so much demand that a waitlist for future vendors has already formed, but for now, the Walters want to focus on these two to see how well they do.

“We’ve made sure to set up sewer, water, and electricity for all the trucks,” he added. “This approach helps aspiring chefs who may not have the funds to start their own truck.” Choosing quality food options was important, and it has generated significant interest among locals.

Families are welcome, and dogs are allowed, making it a great spot to relax with loved ones. Samantha Espinoza from Red Rooster food truck is excited about her offerings. “We’re keeping it classic!” she said.

Espinoza also hinted at future plans, saying, “We want this to be a chill place for families and friends. We’re exploring the possibility of hosting live music events, which could really enhance the atmosphere.”

Red Rooster plans to open its doors on Sunday, operating every day throughout the summer. Their hours will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and holidays, with Sunday hours from noon to 7 p.m. The owners of the Greek food truck were unavailable for comment at the time.

The Alpine Food Truck Court is located at 151 US89 in downtown Alpine. As food truck culture continues to grow across the U.S., this new venue could very well attract locals and tourists alike, celebrating this emerging culinary trend. Just last year, a report from the National Restaurant Association noted that food trucks are projected to reach nearly $2 billion in revenue, highlighting their increasing popularity.

Overall, the Alpine Food Truck Court seems poised to become a community favorite this summer, bridging local flavors with a relaxed dining environment.
