Florida Gators Set to Host Exciting 20th NCAA Regional Championship!

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators have exciting news! They’ve been chosen as one of the 16 regional hosts for the 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament. This announcement came from the NCAA selection committee recently.

The Gators will host the Gainesville Regional at Condron Family Ballpark from May 29 to June 1, if necessary. The full list of teams and game times will be revealed on May 25 during a selection show on ESPN2.

This year marks the Gators’ 20th time hosting an NCAA Regional. They’ve hosted four times in the last six years since Condron Family Ballpark opened. Under Head Coach Kevin O’Sullivan, who has guided the team to the NCAA Tournament for 18 consecutive seasons, Florida has reached this stage 41 times in total.

As they enter the postseason, the Gators are riding high, winning 10 of their last 12 games and finishing strong in the SEC. Their overall record stands at 39-18, with an impressive 15-7 against top-25 opponents.

In total, 64 teams will be selected for the tournament, with each host site welcoming three other teams. Teams will compete for a spot in the NCAA Super Regionals, scheduled for June 5-8. Eventually, the 2026 College World Series will take place at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, from June 12-22.

For fans eager to catch the action, ticket sales begin soon. Season ticket holders can snag their seats starting May 24. The general public can purchase All-Session Regional Passes on May 27 and single-game tickets on May 28.
