Entertainment attorney Dina LaPolt is stepping into a new arena with her latest project, LaPolt Media. Known for representing artists like 21 Savage, Cardi B, and Mary J. Blige, LaPolt is also an advocate for artist rights. Her new venture will feature a podcast and her first book, aiming to create inspiring and impactful content.
LaPolt runs LaPolt Law, a firm that specializes in intellectual property and entertainment law. She has built a strong reputation by guiding high-profile clients through the complexities of the music industry.
Her initial projects under LaPolt Media include Street Smart: Succeeding in a Man’s World, a motivational book set to release on October 7, and the podcast The Stiletto Room, which will launch this spring. To lead the podcast initiative, she has brought on Samantha Gayle Bullock as the chief media officer and executive producer.
Samantha shares her passion for this opportunity: “Taking Dina’s course at UCLA was a turning point for me. It empowered me while giving me a deep understanding of the music industry. Working with her now feels like a full-circle moment.”
In Street Smart, LaPolt discusses her journey in building her law firm and negotiating major deals. Joan Jett endorses the book, stating, “Dina is the ultimate example of being ‘street smart’ — bold and fearless. Her insights can help anyone break through barriers and achieve success.”
On the podcast, LaPolt plans to blend lively conversations with meaningful insights. She aims to bring in creative leaders, discussing topics ranging from personal journeys to social justice issues. The format is designed to combine the excitement of shows like Call Her Daddy with the depth of insights from thought leaders like Mel Robbins.
Despite this new venture, LaPolt emphasizes that her law practice will always come first. Through LaPolt Media, she hopes to create a space for diverse voices and celebrate their stories. “This is about using everything I’ve learned to help others and change the game,” she said.
