Former Syracuse Orange soccer player Miles Robinson is set to represent the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The announcement came from the USMNT on May 26, marking a significant achievement for Robinson and his fans.
Robinson, a defender from Arlington, Massachusetts, was selected second overall in the 2017 MLS Super Draft by Atlanta United. In 2024, he joined FC Cincinnati and has earned call-ups for international matches, appearing in eight games in 2025. During his time at Syracuse, Robinson played all 42 games across the 2015 and 2016 seasons, scoring eight goals and adding an assist.
