Street Fighter 6 is wrapping up Season 3 with an exciting finale. Capcom just released a patch that brings Ingrid into the game as its final DLC character. While Ingrid previously appeared in other titles, this marks her true debut in a mainline Street Fighter game.
This patch isn’t just about Ingrid. Capcom is introducing new game modes like Avatar Arcade and Random Avatar Matches. These modes let players level up and unlock fighting styles without having to go through the World Tour mode. Plus, new outfits for Ingrid and other characters will be available, along with free DriveTech Wear costumes for all 30 characters in the game.
In addition to character reveals, the update includes system adjustments, mainly focusing on throws and bug fixes. According to Capcom, they’re also working on a larger balance update for the future. Fourteen characters, including Jamie, Chun-Li, and Sagat, will receive adjustments.
The changes will likely impact gameplay significantly. In a recent survey by Capcom, over 70% of players expressed excitement about new updates and balance changes, suggesting a strong community interest in evolving gameplay dynamics.
For now, those with the Year 3 Character Pass can access Ingrid after the update finishes downloading. So, fans of Street Fighter 6 have a lot to look forward to!
