Dr. Teresa Busick, the program lead for the Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Wheeling University, has been honored with the 2026 Rev. Edward Gannon, S.J. Outstanding Teaching Award. This recognition is given each year at commencement to a faculty member who excels in teaching, scholarship, and community service.
Busick, who lives in Steubenville, Ohio, began her journey at Wheeling University in 2019 as an adjunct instructor. In 2021, she became a full-time faculty member and has also taken on the role of coordinator for Research Day.
“Receiving this award is a tremendous honor,” Busick shared. “I’m thankful to my colleagues and the Student Government Executive Board for their support.” Her gratitude extends to the Alumni Council for acknowledging her efforts.
