Visa has launched a new campaign in India titled ‘Infinitely More,’ featuring Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador. The campaign was created by Leo India.
The initiative is designed to align with the changing aspirations of Indian consumers, focusing on a shift from ownership to experiences. It aims to reflect how these consumers engage with the world around them.
Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement is intended to resonate with a confident and globally minded audience. His established appeal is seen as a fitting representation of this evolving consumer narrative.
As part of the campaign, Visa introduced Visa.co.in, a platform offering curated experiences across various areas such as travel, dining, and wellness. This initiative aims to enrich lifestyles and enhance connectivity.
Visa operates in over 200 countries and territories with more than 175 million merchant locations. The company aims to provide seamless and secure payments, enabling consumers to access their preferred experiences confidently.
Gaurav Ramdev, Head of Marketing for Visa in India and South Asia, stated that today’s affluent Indian consumer is increasingly global and experience-driven. He emphasized that Shah Rukh Khan embodies this mindset, making him a central figure in the campaign.
The ‘Infinitely More’ campaign also references Visa’s previous advertisements by featuring an orangutan and a tuk-tuk driver from earlier films, reinforcing Visa’s role in facilitating modern consumer experiences.
Shah Rukh Khan commented on the partnership, acknowledging that meaningful experiences are shaped not only by destinations but by the journeys themselves. He expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with Visa, a brand he believes aligns with movement and security.
Rajdeepak Das, CCO of Publicis Groupe – South Asia, highlighted the theme of the campaign, stating that true luxury for today’s affluent consumers lies in access rather than ownership. He described the film as a fast-paced narrative rich in cultural references and designed to showcase the privileges Visa can offer.
