“It caught me by surprise,” Verse said. “I love L.A. I love the coaches, the organization, my teammates, the staff, the fans. I love the whole vibe of L.A. It was upsetting. I was upset for a good little bit of time, but when you’re an athlete, you understand the nature of business.”
Verse emphasized that he is not trying to replace Myles Garrett. Instead, he aims to focus on being “the best me,” which he believes will contribute to his success on the field.
If he achieves his goals, it could lead to a favorable outcome for the Browns following this week’s trade.
