Winter storms in Montana have caused several sports events to be postponed this weekend, originally set for Friday and Saturday. Here’s what we know so far:
- The Billings Central boys basketball game against Livingston and the Livingston girls game at Billings Central have both been postponed. New dates are coming soon.
- Bozeman Gallatin’s boys basketball game at Billings Skyview for Friday is also postponed. Details on the reschedule are pending.
- East Helena’s boys and girls basketball teams had their games at Laurel postponed as well. Rescheduled dates are yet to be announced.
- However, the East Helena boys and girls games at Lockwood, originally slated for Saturday, have been moved to February 17, starting at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively.
- White Sulphur Springs’ games at Manhattan Christian, also scheduled for Friday, are postponed and have a new date set for February 17, with the boys game at 5 p.m. and the girls at 6:30 p.m.
- The Butte Central boys game at Stevensville and the Stevensville girls game at Butte Central have been postponed as well. They will now take place on Saturday, both starting at 4 p.m.
- Lone Peak’s boys and girls games at Ennis are postponed, with new dates to be announced.
- Dillon’s games at Frenchtown for Friday are also postponed and will now occur on Wednesday, with the girls at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m.
- Sadly, the Northern Cheyenne teams’ games at Harlowton-Ryegate-Judith Gap have been canceled completely.
Additionally, the first day of the Eastern AA divisional meet, planned for Friday at Bozeman Gallatin, is postponed. It will now take place on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. and will be a one-day event.
