In his memoir, “Do You Know Me?”, Roberts reflected on his life, stating, “I’ve never been particularly lucky at card games. I’ve never hit a jackpot. But I have been extremely lucky in life.” He realized his passion for acting before even entering high school.
On screen, Roberts frequently collaborated with Woody Allen, appearing in films like “Annie Hall” (1977), “Hannah and Her Sisters” (1986), and “Radio Days” (1987). His tall stature and confident demeanor complemented Allen’s often neurotic characters, making their dynamic enjoyable for audiences.
