Exciting News: Hutch Parker, a veteran film producer and former Vice-Chairman at 20th Century Fox, has teamed up with Sony Pictures. He will produce films under his own banner, Hutch Parker Entertainment, along with his partner Dan Wilson.

Sanford Panitch, President of Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, praises Parker’s skills, saying he has a knack for finding compelling stories and managing challenging projects. “Tom, Josh, and I are excited to keep working with Hutch and Dan,” he added.
This new deal comes right after the release of Venom: The Last Dance, which earned over $478 million worldwide. This success has pushed Sony’s franchise to more than $1.8 billion globally.
Parker’s company will also release The Amateur this April, featuring Academy Award Winner Rami Malek.
Since starting Hutch Parker Entertainment in 2011, Parker and Wilson have produced and overseen 14 films, raking in a whopping $4.162 billion at the global box office. Their projects range from major blockbusters to award-winning films.
Parker previously produced Lyle, Lyle Crocodile for Sony and Logan for 20th Century Fox, which received an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. He also worked on Patriots Day, which was recognized as one of the Top 10 Films of 2016 by the National Board of Review.
During his time at 20th Century Fox, Parker was instrumental in developing the X-Men franchise, overseeing hits like X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand. Parker’s leadership helped Fox achieve record-breaking success, including the massive hit Avatar.
Dan Wilson has worked alongside Parker for over twenty years. After starting their own production company, Wilson became a partner in 2019. He has produced several projects, including the soon-to-be-released The Amateur.
