Avalon Park Wesley Chapel (APWC) is buzzing with exciting events for everyone! On January 24, Rita’s Italian Ice celebrated its grand opening. Antoine and Idalice Stokes hosted a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony, treating guests to free Italian ice and frozen custard. The line of fans stretched around The Flats at Avalon Park Apartments throughout the day.
Guests enjoyed great music, a fire truck from Pasco County Fire Rescue, and appearances by District 2 Pasco County Commissioner Seth Weightman and the Cypress Creek Cheerleaders. The celebration featured a Justice League-themed inflatable for kids, making it a fun day for the whole family.
This grand opening coincided with APWC’s first “Fourth Friday Food Truck Rally.” Four food trucks served up delicious treats, including:
- Pane Piatto Pizza
- Taco Holic
- Westchase BBQ
- Nacho Wagon
APWC hosts food trucks in the downtown area on many Mondays and Thursdays. Mark your calendar for the next Food Truck Rally on February 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Expect to see:
