This program will take place from February to June 2025 and aims to raise awareness about climate change while showcasing Ha Long Bay’s global importance. Over 20 activities will engage the public in environmental protection.
Organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, along with the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province and various partners, this initiative embodies a collaborative spirit focused on our planet’s future.
The program unfolds in three exciting phases:
- Phase One (February 20 – April 17): An international art exhibition kicks things off, featuring an auction to support heritage conservation and a collection by Merea x Women Dior.
- Phase Two (March 1 – June 1): Targeting the youth, this phase includes an online art competition called “Future On Earth,” university-led campaigns for the environment, discussions with experts, and a contest for innovative recycling ideas.
- Phase Three (June 20 – June 28): The final phase culminates in a global seminar on climate change, a conference to promote investment in Quang Ninh, and another art auction to fund conservation efforts.
In addition to these key events, visitors can look forward to an international music festival, showcases of Vietnamese and global products, recycled fashion shows, and tree-planting activities led by global influencers to promote sustainability.
With Ha Long Climate 2025, the bay aims to blend culture, tourism, and environmental action, reinforcing its role as a leader in global sustainability. The organizers hope to unite policymakers, artists, and media to further aid Vietnam’s commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions.
