Images and videos of the Nothing Phone 3A and 3A Pro have surfaced, showcasing their design and key features. The two models look quite similar, with just a few differences in their camera layouts.
According to leaks from Android Headlines, both phones feature Nothing’s signature transparent design and Glyph lighting in black and white. The main distinction is in the camera arrangement: the 3A has its three lenses in a straight line, while the Pro takes a more creative approach with a half-spiral design.
Leaker Arsène Lupin also shared videos that highlight the core specifications of both models. They are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip and sport a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display.
A new button on both phones seems to trigger an AI assistant and a feature called “Essential Space,” which helps organize tasks visually, essentially working as an AI-driven to-do list.
The cameras are where the main differences lie. Both phones have a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide. However, the Pro model includes a 3x periscope lens, while the 3A has a 2x telephoto lens. For selfies, the Pro features a 50-megapixel camera, while the 3A has a 32-megapixel front camera.
Recently, Nothing showcased how the 3A’s camera stacks up against the iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, fans quickly noted an error in the video: the iPhone was using its ultrawide lens instead of the main camera for stabilization comparisons. Nothing acknowledged the mistake in a YouTube comment.
“Hey everyone, we shot across all lenses throughout the day (sometimes cycling one-handed on a bumpy road), and in editing, a clip shot using the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s ultrawide lens was mistakenly used in the video stabilisation comparison instead of one shot using its standard lens. There was no intent to mislead, and we’ll be more careful to ensure even greater scrutiny in future comparisons. Appreciate you all keeping us accountable!”
The official launch for the Nothing Phone 3A and 3A Pro is set for March 4th, coinciding with the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Unlike its predecessor, which had limited availability in the US, it’s still unclear how widely the new models will be released.
