Key players for Indiana included Malik Reneau and Trey Galloway, who both scored 15 points. Reneau was efficient, hitting all his shots, while Galloway also dished out nine assists. Myles Rice and Oumar Ballo added 12 points each, and Luke Goode contributed 11 with two three-pointers.
Statistics showed Indiana’s dominance, especially in the paint where they outscored Purdue 44-18. They shot an impressive 68.6% on two-pointers and scored 23 points off turnovers compared to Purdue’s 12.
