This year is shaping up to be exciting for Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft is gearing up to release major titles like Doom: The Dark Ages and Fable in 2025. But there’s more on the horizon, especially after the ID@Xbox showcase held on Monday.
The showcase revealed many indie games, trailers, and release dates. Many of these will be available in Game Pass Ultimate and on PC right away. Here’s a quick look at some exciting new titles set to join the platform:
- 33 Immortals – March 18
- Descenders Next – April 9
- Blue Prince – April 10
- Tempopo – April 17
- Revenge of the Savage Planet – May 8
- Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault – TBD 2025
- Tanuki: Pon’s Summer – TBD 2025
- Ultimate Sheep Racoon – TBD
- Echo Weaver – TBD
Beyond new titles, the event shared some new release windows. The 2.5D action platformer Hotel Barcelona will arrive in 2025. Meanwhile, Ratatan is expected this year. Plus, Tron: Catalyst is set for June 17, followed by Herdling, a puzzle game from the creators of FAR: Lone Sails.
Notably, the solarpunk adventure game Outbound is coming in 2026. This is also when the charming record store sim Wax Heads will debut. The cozy game Woodo is also on the way.
The showcase introduced two new games as well. First up is Rockbeasts, a music RPG where you’ll manage a band of animal rock stars. Then there’s The Lonesome Guild, where you guide quirky adventurers as a ghost.
Among all these announcements, Echo Weaver truly caught my interest. This “Metroidvania” game challenges you to solve puzzles and escape a glitchy time loop. It comes from the makers of the stunning game The Wild at Heart.
