Join Us for ‘A Night Out for Health’: Fundraiser with Massachusetts State Senator Sal DiDomenico to Support Peer Health Exchange!

Boston, MA, March 18, 2025 — Peer Health Exchange (PHE) is excited for its upcoming Spring fundraiser, “A Night Out for Health.” This year, Massachusetts Senator Sal DiDomenico will be honored as the 2025 Youth Advocate. The event focuses on raising support for youth health education and is set for Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the More Than Words Bookstore in Boston.

PHE trains Peer Facilitators, including local high schoolers, on important topics like mental health, sexual health, and substance use. Gogo Eastwood, a senior and Peer Facilitator from Boston, expressed her enthusiasm. “My role is to teach young kids like me. Being in Peer Health Exchange has taught me the importance of public speaking. It has prepared me for real-world situations like presentations and job interviews,” she shared. This event will showcase the inspiring stories of students like Gogo and connect leaders dedicated to improving health outcomes for youth.

Senator DiDomenico voiced his pride in being recognized by PHE. “I am honored to work with this fantastic organization to enhance health education in schools across Massachusetts,” he said. Dr. Angela Glymph, CEO of Peer Health Exchange, praised the Senator’s commitment to youth advocacy and comprehensive sexual education.
