Discover Free Nature Adventures This April School Break in Your City!

The City of Greater Bendigo is hosting exciting free events this April to celebrate its unique wildlife and environment during the school holidays. It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to learn and have fun together.

Michelle Wyatt, the Climate Change and Environment Manager for Greater Bendigo, emphasizes the importance of these events. She notes they will educate participants about local wildlife and the need to protect their habitats. "Our region boasts a variety of wildlife. These sessions help everyone appreciate their unique traits," Ms. Wyatt shared.

One special activity will take place on April 9 in Hargreaves Mall. From 11 am to 2 pm, families can explore Bendigo’s native plants and animals. They’ll also find tips on making their homes more energy efficient. This pop-up event is open to all, and it’s completely free!
