One notable rescheduling occurred at Munising Wesleyan Church, which shifted its food distribution to next Wednesday. Bill Brutto, Head Administrator at the Salvation Army of Marquette County, remains committed to serving the community despite these challenges. He highlighted the increasing demand for food assistance, noting a 15% rise in their service numbers this year.

Interestingly, discussions on social media suggested that budget cuts led to these cancellations. Brutto clarified that this was not the case. He emphasized that the roadblocks were solely due to weather conditions, not federal funding issues.
