Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025: A Milestone in Education

The Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025 wrapped up its three-day event today in Greater Noida, attracting over 100,000 visitors, including students, parents, educators, and industry professionals. Organized by India Exposition Mart Limited with support from the Uttar Pradesh government, this expo showcased a wide array of educational opportunities.

Dr. H. Chaturvedi, the Director General of IILM University, was the chief guest at the closing session. He spoke about the pivotal changes coming to India’s education landscape. According to him, events like these are crucial for connecting universities, startups, and students. This year’s expo featured 15 innovative startups from AKTU, alongside prominent Indian and international educational institutions.

The event included various participants like Galgotias University, IIT Kanpur, and even international universities such as Grigol Robakidze University from Georgia and Whitworth University from the USA. Attendees had the chance to explore dedicated stalls by the National Institute of Fashion Technology and more. A total of 100 exhibitors showcased advances in higher education, skill education, and study abroad options.

Dr. Chaturvedi highlighted Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park as a key hub for education. He praised the India Expo Centre for providing world-class facilities that elevate the academic environment. He even referred to the expo as a "Mahakumbh of Education," celebrating the vision and dedication of the organizers and exhibitors.

The event was not just about showing off institutions. It featured interactive activities for students, including competitions, workshops, and educational counseling. More than 600 students took part in free career guidance sessions, and around 3,000 students engaged in hands-on activities like robotics demonstrations and creative competitions.

As of 2023, a staggering 40% of Indian students are considering studying abroad, according to recent surveys. This indicates a growing trend for global opportunities in education, making expos like Bharat Shiksha Expo more essential than ever.

The closing day also saw award ceremonies for various competitions. Ryan International School took home the top prize in the Quiz final, showcasing the talent in the region.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Exposition Mart Limited, has been a driving force in shaping this vibrant educational ecosystem. His leadership has helped establish Greater Noida as a rising hub of academic excellence and innovation.

Events like Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025 are crucial in not just education, but in forging connections that lay the groundwork for the future. By bringing together educators, students, and innovators, the expo is a beacon for what’s to come in the educational landscape of India.
