The District of Summerland is hosting a parcel tax roll review panel next week. This meeting is important for residents who want to review property taxes related to water and sewer services.

On Tuesday, the panel will discuss the parcel tax rates for the upcoming year. The water parcel tax is set at $285, while the sewer parcel tax is $200. These taxes help cover the costs of servicing debts related to the water treatment plant and utility networks.

The tax amounts will appear on the 2025 property tax notices. If you’re interested in reviewing the parcel tax roll, you can do so at Municipal Hall during business hours: Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
