Get Ready, Mt. Lebanon! Toastique is Opening This June with Fresh, Healthy Eats in a Welcoming Community Atmosphere!

When the first Toastique opens in Mt. Lebanon on June 7, locals can expect more than just delicious gourmet toasts and fresh juices. Owners Brad and Chrissy Sileo aim to create a welcoming community spot centered around healthy comfort food.

Toastique founder Brianna Keefe launched the brand in Washington, D.C., in 2018. As a college athlete, she craved nutritious options, which is why her menu features items like fresh avocado toast and protein-rich smoothies. The blend of “toast” and “boutique” in the name reflects the restaurant’s trendy and health-conscious vibe. Since its inception, Toastique has expanded rapidly across the U.S.

The Sileos have transformed a previously vacant space on Washington Road into a cozy gathering hub. Chrissy envisions it as a “comfortable place for moms and kids, meetings, and friends.” Guests will be welcomed by a living plant wall and local artwork, with seating options that encourage both collaboration and relaxation.

Freshness is key at Toastique. Nut butters are made in-house, and juices are pressed on-site using a high-powered machine for quick, easy cleaning. “We don’t take shortcuts,” Brad emphasizes, ensuring everything is made to order.

Chrissy, a certified yoga instructor, has always prioritized healthy eating. Community involvement has been a significant part of her life, and now, with her kids grown, she’s ready to dive into this new venture. Brad brings his tech experience, having built and sold a software company, while also pursuing his passion as a scuba instructor.

Chrissy underwent extensive training through Toastique’s franchise program, covering everything from food preparation to staffing.

The menu features crowd favorites like Avocado Smash and various smoothie options such as the Gingerberry Smoothie. Items rotate seasonally, allowing local franchises to tailor selections based on community tastes.

The Sileos plan to expand, aiming for at least two more locations in the Pittsburgh area. “Mt. Lebanon is close to home and a community we love,” Chrissy says. “We believe this is the perfect spot for our first Toastique.”

The grand opening will take place at 700 Washington Road at 8 a.m. on June 7. The first 100 guests will receive Toastique Reward Dollars after a small purchase, along with chances to win additional prizes throughout the day.

Regular hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. “We want to be the go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, and even a snack before soccer practice,” Brad adds.

This approach aligns with current health trends where many consumers seek nutritious options that fit their busy lifestyles. A recent survey found that 74% of Americans are trying to eat healthier, and Toastique seems ready to meet that demand.
