Leno admitted he made a mistake by letting Kimmel poke fun at him during the interview. “I didn’t edit it out,” he said. “I trusted him. That was my error, and I had to accept the consequences.” Kimmel took plenty of shots at Leno that night, making jokes that were biting but humorous.
