The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI) has promoted three key leaders: Sandra McGrew is now the executive director, Jennifer Wessel is the director of health policy, and Joshua Cook is the director of external relations.
Sandra McGrew will oversee the day-to-day operations as the executive director. She joined ACHI in 2019 as the director of external relations and has been stepping in as the interim executive director since May after Danielle Taylor’s retirement.
Jennifer Wessel previously worked as a senior policy analyst. In her new role, she is focusing on community health initiatives and managing health data through the Arkansas Healthcare Transparency Initiative. Her goal is to enhance healthcare access across the state and she also serves as ACHI’s data privacy officer.
Joshua Cook was previously the assistant director of external relations. In his current role, he handles communications, including media outreach, publications, and social media.
Craig Wilson, ACHI’s President and CEO, expressed pride in promoting these individuals, noting their crucial contributions to the team. With this leadership in place, ACHI aims to deepen its analytical capabilities and provide timely insights that can help decision makers in Arkansas’s healthcare landscape.
