In his new position, Dr. Selechnik will focus on the chemicals used in cleaning products. He’ll manage projects and collaborate with ACI members to create scientific studies. Before joining ACI, he worked as the director of Regulatory Science at the Fragrance Creators Association. Dr. Selechnik holds a biology degree from Ursinus College and a Ph.D. in biological sciences from the University of Sydney.

Dr. James Kim, ACI’s senior vice president of Science & Regulatory Affairs, expressed that Dan’s strong background in science and regulations will be vital for their policy initiatives. “His expertise will help us promote the environmental safety of cleaning products,” Kim said.

On the other hand, Zersha Munir will focus on shaping ACI’s messaging. She’ll help communicate the growth and innovation in the cleaning products industry. Additionally, Munir will collaborate with the Government Affairs team to effectively convey ACI’s legislative goals. Before ACI, she served as the senior manager of Communications and Outreach at Brown University. She earned her journalism and English literature degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MPH in Health Communications and Crisis Response from Brown University.

Brian Sansoni, senior vice president of Communications, Outreach & Membership at ACI, noted that Zersha’s extensive communication experience will be a great asset. “We are thrilled to have her on our award-winning team,” he said.
