Alexander Brothers Charged with Multiple Sex Crimes, Including Disturbing Allegations Involving Minors

Charges of sex trafficking against three luxury real estate brokers, Oren and Tal Alexander, along with their brother Alon, have deepened. Manhattan federal prosecutors have expanded the case to include six victims, one of whom is an underage girl, according to a recent indictment.

Initially charged in December, the brothers were accused of using force, fraud, or coercion to exploit two victims. The new indictment broadens these allegations, suggesting that the brothers used their power and influence in the luxury real estate market to lure, drug, and assault multiple women over a span dating back to 2009.

The women and the girl, whose identities remain confidential, are just a small fraction of the many victims federal prosecutors believe the brothers targeted. Reports indicate that their actions trace back to high school, where they began their harmful behaviors.

The Alexanders have pleaded not guilty and are due back in court soon. Their case has not only shocked the high-end real estate industry but has also tarnished their reputable careers. Oren and Tal were known for brokering a landmark nearly $240 million penthouse sale in Manhattan, a record for residential sales in the U.S. They co-founded a brokerage named Official, distinguishing themselves in the competitive market.

As they await trial in a federal detention center in Brooklyn, it’s crucial to highlight that they also face state sex-trafficking charges in Florida, where Oren and Alon have pleaded not guilty. Tal Alexander, however, has no state charges against him.
