New Amrit Bharat Express Train: Today marks the launch of the new Amrit Bharat Express train connecting Gaya in Bihar to Delhi. This train is the eighth in Bihar since 2023 and aims to provide affordable travel options for low-income and middle-class families.

The inaugural run of this train, known as train number 03621, will leave Gaya Junction at 10:50 AM. It will stop at various stations along the way, including Anugrah Narayan Road and Dehri on Sone, before reaching Delhi at 4:30 AM the next day. This service will help ease travel for many, particularly for those with limited budgets.

Travel Details: Covering a distance of 983 km, the train will take approximately 19 hours and 30 minutes to complete its journey. It will operate as train number 13697 for Gaya to Delhi, and 13698 for the return trip. Each week, this route is scheduled to run twice, specifically on Sundays and Thursdays from Gaya, and Mondays and Fridays from Delhi.

Moreover, the train features 22 coaches, including 8 sleeper coaches and 11 general coaches, ensuring both comfort and accessibility for passengers. The maximum speed of the train is 130 km/h, a notable feature that enhances travel efficiency.

Ticket Prices: For travelers using the Sleeper Class, tickets can be bought for a reasonable price of ₹560.
