Allentown’s Exciting New Entertainment Venue Launches: 200 Events and 200 Job Opportunities Await!

Allentown, Pennsylvania, is buzzing with excitement over a new live music venue: the Archer Music Hall. This place is set to bring energy, entertainment, and jobs to the heart of downtown.

Molly Warren, who oversees programming for Live Nation, believes Allentown needs a venue like this. “It’s a vibrant community that really was missing a 1600-capacity space,” she says.

At the Archer Music Hall on Hamilton Street, there’s a promise of unforgettable experiences. Maggie Gessner, also from Live Nation, shares the vision: “We hope to connect Allentown with diverse artists and to become a true part of the community.” With a seating capacity of 1,600, the venue is designed for a variety of special events.

The hall comes equipped with built-in bars, portable units, and a design suitable for events from bar mitzvahs to charity galas. “We want to make it easy for people to enjoy their favorite bands without having to travel far,” Gessner adds.

The location is strategic. Being close to major cities like Philadelphia, New York City, and even Washington D.C. means Archer Music Hall can attract top artists on tour. “We expect to see many performers stopping here on their way,” Gessner says.

The venue plans to host around 200 events each year, which could create numerous job opportunities. “We’re having a job fair soon, and positions start at $20 an hour,” Warren explains. They’re looking for staff in various areas including bar service, operations, security, and production.
